![]() ![]() "AAAAAAHHHH!!! ease help me," said Thomas as he passed out over the voice chat and disconnected. Over time, Rickard's team was taken out one by one by the other team. The other team splitted up to try and defeat Rickard's team. "CHARGE!!!" Rickard's team started firing blue ink everywhere to claim as much territory as they could. The game loaded, and the team prepared themselves to battle against a green-haired team of Inklings. Besides, we're like an army," said Rickard. "Many people split up, but we should team up. "Should we team up or split up?" asked Dylan. "The name's Kenneth, but you can call me Ken," said the other boy. "Who's the other boy in our team?" asked Brodie. "I'm excited to play online with my buddies for the first time," said Thomas. Rickard joined his friends Thomas, Dylan and Brodie and another boy in the same team while the match was being prepared. "Ooooh, this headset has surround sound! Now I can find other Inklings easily if they're shooting anywhere," said Rickard as he entered a multiplayer lobby. Rickard was able to hear everything around him in the game. Rickard customized his Inkling and he was now in Inkopolis. He turned the volume on his headset to the max and prepared to splat other players online. Rickard took out the game card from the case, inserted it into his Switch and turned it on. "This must be a pre-order bonus that Nintendo put in a limited amount of copies, kinda like a Golden Ticket in a chocolate bar," said Rickard as he put the 3D glasses on. When Rickard opened the case, there was a pair of 3D glasses that resembled the Inkling's black eyeliner. Rickard then took out some scissors and cut the shrink wrap around the game case. Rickard put the headset over his head and synced it to his Nintendo Switch. He entered his house, closed the door, and opened the box to the headset. It had stopped raining outside, and Rickard was on his way home to play Splatoon 2. You're the best, Mike!" said Rickard as he left the store. "Ha! I was joking with you! Here's your Splatoon 2 copy and the headset you pre-ordered back in June," said Mike as he handed Rickard a copy of Splatoon 2 and a wireless green and black headset. "No thanks, I already have the first Splatoon game," said Rickard. Would you like a copy of Splatoon for the Wii U instead?" asked Mike, the guy behind the counter. "Sorry, but we're all out of Splatoon 2 copies. "One copy of Splatoon 2, please," said Rickard. The line eventually got smaller, and Rickard was finally at the front counter. He had no time to waste, so he got in line before the store ran out of Splatoon 2 copies. "Why do I always have bad luck when it rains?" Rickard asked himself. Many people were at the front counter asking for sealed copies of Splatoon 2. When Rickard arrived at the store, it started raining once the door closed and the store was packed. He also had to buy a headset so he can talk to his teammates while playing online. Rickard went to GameGo to get a copy of Splatoon 2 before anyone else at his school did.
